New construction designed by the architectural studio NEXT

ROIG has started working on the construction of the new housing development ‘Jardins de les Clarisses’, located in the town of Arenys de Mar (Barcelona) and designed by the
NEXT architectural studio
.

This development consists of 27 homes, with 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms, divided into 5 floors, at different levels, conceived and designed with emphasis on criteria of environmental sustainability and energy efficiency. With this premise, the building will have, among other qualities, a water saving system, clean energy and thermal insulation.

Own external identity

The general structure of the building will be made of reinforced concrete and the four facades will have a black and white brick finish that will be combined. On the other hand, the upper cover will be through the “TERMOCHIP TPH” system, a lightweight system, improving thermal insulation and adaptable to any finish. In addition, the exterior carpentry will be made of aluminum with thermal break, with double glass and air chamber for better thermal and acoustic insulation.

A high-quality sustainable project

Inside the houses, top quality materials will be used in the partitions, coatings, carpentry and flooring to guarantee durability, as well as the comfort of future tenants.

The production of hot water will be through an aerothermal system, which in terms of environmental impact means a higher performance than that represented by solar panels. The production of cold and hot air will also be carried out with this system, a fact that will lead to a significant reduction in energy consumption.

Finally, the ventilation of the houses will have an integrated system for the renewal of indoor air. In this case it will be chosen to individualize it to each floor to achieve greater comfort.
