90 homes, Girona

It is a new residential building of Habitat, located on Migdia street in Girona and designed by the architecture studio Adema Canela Comella Arquitectes. This development has 90 homes of 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms, ground floors with terrace and duplex homes on the upper floors.

The underground floor is intended for parking spaces and storage rooms that occupy almost the entire plot, except for the part of land where the communal pool is located. For its part, the interior patio is intended for private terraces of the houses on the ground floor and the communal area with children’s play area.

Regarding insulation, this building has opted for a type of SATE façade as it offers continuous exterior insulation, elimination of thermal bridges, low heating consumption and acoustic insulation, among other advantages.

Highlights in this building the sloping roof ‘gabled’ consisting of two skirts inclined in a downward direction, which start from a central ridge and the inverted flat roof passable by the terraces.

Likewise, ROIG has installed PVC exterior carpentry with thermal break and glass with a Climalit type air chamber, for better performance against outdoor temperatures, which will undoubtedly have an impact on the energy bill, both in summer and winter.

As for the air conditioning, for this building we have opted for a ducted system with 1×1 air conditioning machine and heating by natural gas boiler and solar collectors.
