ROIG will renovate the accesses and exteriors of the Hotel Madrid Princesa Plaza

ROIG will complete the renovation of the renowned Hotel Madrid Princesa Plaza, which will become part of the Marriott chain following its acquisition from the Selenta group.

Renovation and landscaping

This project contemplates the adaptation of the entrance and the transformation of the outdoor terrace, incorporating a landscaping design that will enhance the experience of guests and visitors.

A new waterproofing system is planned for the entire roof of the entrance, thus solving the problems of seepage and humidity caused by the existing flowerbeds. In addition, at the access to the garage, the linear grating and the downspout will be repaired to ensure proper water drainage in this area.

Once the waterproofing has been completed, the main and secondary accesses will be adapted, improving accessibility to both the interior of the hotel and the ‘La Mimosa’ terrace. The landscaping renovation of the flowerbeds and landscaped areas will also be carried out, incorporating new vegetation and trees in line with the guidelines of the Madrid City Council.

The project also contemplates the harmonization of the exterior environment, integrating the design with the facade of the building and the surrounding spaces, including main and interior streets of the block. Landscaped areas with pedestrian and vehicular walkways will be maintained, ensuring that all exterior areas of the hotel are fully accessible.

The adaptation work is expected to be completed in 3 months.
