ROIG has refurbished a premises, whose previous use was as a car workshop and dealership, to convert it into a sports establishment in the Catalan town of Sabadell (Barcelona), specifically at 132 Vilarrúbias Street. The space has an area of 1,500m2 where, first, the old carpentry, doors, partition walls and floors have been dismantled to create the new distributions, implement the new facilities, electrical, telecommunications, sanitary, ... and finally execute the finishes to transform the premises into a new equipment of the gymnasium company Synergym. For the different spaces, the project has taken into account both acoustic and thermal insulation, matte plastic paint for the interiors, porcelain stoneware, laminated parquet and vinyl flooring for the floors, as well as impact-absorbing rubber flooring for certain rooms, and terrazzo tiles for the exterior. Aluminum and acoustic laminated double glazing have been chosen for the carpentry. As for DHW production, an air-water heat pump with integrated storage tank has been installed. ROIG's team completed the work within 13 weeks.
