Banco Santander, Balmes 291

Once again, the Roig team was in charge of the refurbishment project of a Banco Santander bank office. This time, in one of the most emblematic offices of the bank, located in one of the main streets of Barcelona.

This project is part of Banco Santander’s strategy of refurbishing bank branches throughout Spain to adapt them to its new corporate image. Therefore, the objective was to integrate the bank’s new corporate image into this 750m2 premises, spread over two floors: a ground floor and the basement, so that this branch would become part of the Smart Red network of branches, which stand out for their design and technology aimed at providing customers with a more personal service and no waiting time. To fit in with Santander’s new brand image, Roig changed the layout of the premises with the aim of giving the renovated branch a much more effective opening to the public in terms of personal attention, one of Santander’s fundamental pillars. One of the most important parts of the project was the central staircase, which was given great importance within the office, becoming part of the prominent core of the premises.
