New ALDI supermarket

The ROIG team has completed the construction of a new ALDI supermarket, under the ‘turnkey’ modality, located on Escorial Street in Barcelona. Specifically, the premises are located between two different plots, located in the block that borders Escorial, Pi i Maragall, Travessera de Gràcia and Joaquim Ruyra streets.

The structure of the building includes the premises on the ground floor and two basements, which will be used for public parking. The premises have an available constructed area of 4,192.94 m2, more than the supermarket activity that ALDI intends to implement. So only 1,499.92m2 have been occupied for ^{the development of the activity, an area that corresponds to the ground floor, where the sales room is located; and basement 1, which will be used for the warehouse and outbuildings.}

One of the challenges of the work is the time frames of 20 weeks.

In these 20 weeks the ROIG team has implemented works that include the realization of new interior partitions, pavements, coatings (vertical and horizontal); dismantling and assembly of new carpentry on the façade; installation of lifting equipment; reinforcement of the slab; forged vacuum covering; ventilation of air conditioning equipment (modification of bars on the terrace); Installation of extraction ducts to the terrace and reviews in the fireproofing of the slabs.
