Roig's team has completed the construction of the Llull Building, a cutting-edge building with 30 flats, 2 and 3 bedrooms, with parking, storage rooms and 3 commercial premises and energy rating A. Located in one of the expansion areas of the zone. Forum, just a few metres from the Forum Port and the Diagonal Mar, in the city of Barcelona, this project has meant for the team of Roig work from the beginning to alleviate existing constraints in the area such as contaminated soil, where a careful selection of soil types had to be made. In addition, work was carried out to solve the the groundwater seepage problems in the area of the car park, which added a preliminary phase to the work, in order to be able to pump the water. Urban style and high quality The Llull Building is a new construction project of modern and unique architecture of a multi-family building with a swimming pool on the roof with panoramic views over the surroundings, solarium and children's area. The flats are designed to be spacious with modern and welcoming finishes, with an urban architectural style. All homes have AC4 quality floating laminate parquet flooring, except for kitchens and bathrooms, which are tiled in Argenta brand stoneware. Districlima, an independent centralised hot and cold air conditioning system for each home In a commitment towards sustainability , a water centralisation system has been set up to centralise the water from Districlima, an innovative solution to be installed in new generation buildings with high added value, for use in heating, air-conditioning and domestic hot water, offering maximum performance, improved energy rating and savings in CO 2 emissions. Thermal insulation and double glazing In terms of insulation, and in order to achieve maximum energy savings, we have opted for a SATE façade, consisting of an external insulation sheet with a rendered and painted finish, a ceramic wall and an internal partition wall made up of galvanised steel sections with thermal insulation and laminated plasterboard. And for the exterior woodwork, windows and exterior doors (sliding or hinged) with aluminium profiles with thermal break and thermo-acoustic double glazing have been planned. All these constructive solutions to optimise energy efficiency and guarantee the comfort and enjoyment of the user of this state-of-the-art building, designed by the sustainable architecture studio Pich-Aguilera, ensure that it has an A energy rating, the highest existing rating.
