Service Area La Selva AP-7

Roig was in charge of the project to build a restaurant with a large outdoor terrace in the area where the La Selva AP-7 service area car park used to be.

Roig’s team built a new reinforced concrete building with a light roof, adjacent to the existing service area.

This new building was to house the new restaurant, the storage, food preparation and handling area and the changing rooms for the staff. In the outdoor space, the project proposed a large terrace with a pergola made of textile architecture with solar protection by means of stretched covers.

The work had to be carried out as quickly as possible, as the service area was still in operation throughout the construction process of the new area, and was successfully completed in a period of 4 months.
