Comprehensive refurbishment of the FFIO Building of Boehringer Ingelheim Spain

ROIG completes the complete refurbishment of the Boehringer Ingelheim corporate building, located in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona). Specifically, it is the rehabilitation of the FFIO building, one of the buildings located within the company’s campus and which includes the facilities for the manufacture of pharmaceutical products and the offices of the production teams.

The ROIG team has already renovated the office area of the first, second and third floors of the building, with a new redistribution of spaces.

Renovation of interior finishes and new distribution

In order to make the offices more comfortable, current and adapt them to the needs of workers, the ROIG team has carried out the dismantling of walls, carpentry and interior doors to rethink a new distribution with the placement of new divisions and the removal of current furniture. It has also dismantled the existing false ceiling to install a decorative sound-absorbent ceiling and plasterboard.

Likewise, the false floor has been adapted and new coatings have been placed, so that the layout and dimensions of the spaces are adapted to the functions planned in the building.

Finally, a new air conditioning and lighting system has been installed to provide an adequate lighting service to the new diaphanous distribution.

Building in use

For the development of the works, it has been taken into account that part of the building was in use and that, therefore, the workers could continue with their tasks safely, enabling accesses and working by sections in order to minimize the impact of the works.
